About me

As may of you know I have been raising money for Cancer charities for around ten years now. Most of the efforts have involved me not doing something – whether giving up alcohol, food or fun… 

This year I intend to turn this around and to do different things, to take on challenges. 

Basically if you challenge me to do something and pledge the money I will.

Already I have been challenged to swim twice a week for a year – cycle from John O’Groats to Lands End – deliver a baby (worth £1,000 if I can achieve this – perform stand up – shear a sheep – learn Welsh and to grow my hair etc, etc….

Basically the ball is in your court, be creative (if possible be nice…)

My target this year is to make £10,000 for MacMillan, ten years ago my best friend was taken by Cancer, MacMillan provide so much help and assistance to patients and families fighting the disease and this is my small way of saying thank you to them for the help they gave to my friend, his family and everyone going through the same struggle.
